Sustainable Procurement / Purchasing Policy

MSU-IIT is committed to implementing Green Public Procurement (GPP) strategies in accordance with RA 12009 (New Government Procurement Act), Rule XII Section 73, by integrating environmentally sustainable practices and criteria into procurement planning and specifications. The University recognizes its responsibility to reduce environmental impact across the lifecycle of goods, infrastructure projects, and consulting services while supporting the Philippines' national climate action and disaster resilience goals. Through systematic adoption of green procurement practices, MSU-IIT contributes to sustainable development and demonstrates its dedication to environmental stewardship in institutional operations.
